§  Enlisted in US Air Force in March 1968. Completed Basic Training, followed by

Technical Training as a Munitions Maintenance Specialist. Stationed in U-Tapao

Royal Thai AFB, March 1969-January 1970 and Udorn Royal Thai AFB March 1971-

January 1972 as a Munitions Maintenance Specialist in support of the Vietnam

War.

§  Served in the New Jersey Air National Guard, 108 th Tactical Fighter Wing, McQuire

AFB May 1977 through April 1983 as a Munitions Maintenance Specialist in

support of operations with F105 and F4 aircraft. From November 1984 through

October 2007 served in the new Jersey Air National Guard, 108 th Tactical Fighter

Wing then 108 th Aircraft Refueling Wing in the following positions: Munitions

Maintenance Specialist, KC-135 Aircraft Crew Chief, First Sergeant and Command

Chief Master Sergeant.

§  Deployed as Munitions Maintenance Specialist in support of F-4 operations to

numerous locations including Norway and Ecuador.

§  Deployed as KC 135 Crew Chief in support of numerous Conus and Oconus

operations including Spain, Italy, and Turkey.

§  Deployed as First Sergeant in support of Operation Northern Watch, Incirlik AB

Turkey, August 2001 through September 2001.

§  Mobilized First Sergeant in support of Operation Enduring Freedom Sultanate of

Oman, December 2001 through March 2002.

§  Retired in October 2007 as Command Chief Master Sergeant with over 35 years

total military service.
