Richard M. Zygadlo, Lieutenant Colonel (Retired), was commissioned as an Aviation officer through the Seton Hall University Army ROTC program. Over the course of his career, he held a variety of leadership and staff positions, including company and battalion command, and served in Korea, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He also served as a Professor of Military Science at Drexel University and as a senior trainer at the Joint Readiness Training Center (Fort Polk, LA). He is airborne and air assault qualified.
