When: Saturday, 6/28 (Rain date, Sunday 6/29)
Time: 5:00-8:30pm (Fireworks 9:30pm)
- Please have your areas setup by 4:30pm. We encourage groups to show up early if you have the ability, to lessen the congestion of everyone trying to set up shortly before 4:30pm.
Where: Auten Road Intermediate School
What: Each group that participates will be given a minimum of a 10x10 space, a table, & two chairs. All are encouraged to bring information regarding your organization, as well as something interactive (candy/prize/small game) to hopefully grab the families attention.
- Every organization will have their 10x10 area labeled, so simply walk down the row until you find your group. Groups will be lined up parallel with Auten Rd, which you can view in the attachment labeled "Departments/Commissions/
Organizations".
Supplies/Handouts: Groups should plan to bring supplies that can be walked in and out of the facility. As you can imagine, for those that want to leave at 8:30pm, it can be difficult exiting with a large amount of supplies through a field full of residents.
Parking Passes: All groups should have been contacted already in regards to their parking passes. When you arrive at the front main lot at Auten Road, you will have to present your parking pass to HTPD in order to gain access to the lot.
Event Postponement: In the event of a weather related emergency, you would be notified by 10:00am Saturday, latest(!). We have to make this call early in the day prior to the fireworks being loaded and delivered to the event site.
