Please know, however, that the Congressman can only recognize those veterans who reside within the 7th Congressional District. The program requirements are obvious, as it is a congressional protocol to provide services or awards only to those constituents you represent in Congress. Hillsborough is a divided town in that portions of Hillsborough fall within the 7th District, while others fall within the boundaries of the 12th Congressional District, represented by Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman.
